Is grading a UFC card worth it?

Grading a UFC or MMA card only pays when the graded-versus-raw price gap is bigger than what grading actually costs you. The math is simple: find the recent sold price of your exact card already in a PSA or BGS slab, subtract the recent sold price of the same card raw, and that gap is your entire upside. Against it, run the current PSA fee — check PSA's own published rates as of the day you ship, they change over time — plus shipping both ways, plus weeks of turnaround, plus the real chance the card doesn't come back a 10. If the slabbed copy sells for only a few dollars more than the raw, the fee and return shipping eat the difference and grading loses money. If the slab sells for well over double the raw, grading is usually a clear win. The rule of thumb: run the current PSA fee against your card's real graded-vs-raw gap first, and only send in cards where the gap comfortably clears the cost. Not sure what your card sells for raw?
