Where to sell UFC cards
CardResell publishes this page and is one of the options. There is no single right place to sell a UFC card, because a $5 base card and a graded rookie autograph need different places. This guide compares seven ways to sell UFC and MMA cards on cost, how you get paid and what to check first. Fees and policies were checked in October 2026 and can change.
Seven ways to sell a UFC card, side by side
Only eBay's fees are quoted here, with the source and the month they were checked. Every other option points to its own page for costs, because fees change and no figure is quoted that was not read from its source. Fees checked October 2026.
| Where | What it is | What it costs | How you get paid | What to check |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| eBay | A general marketplace where cards from every sport and category are listed, as fixed price or auction. | 13.25% of the sale up to $7,500 per item for trading cards, plus a $0.40 per-order fee on orders over $10.00 ($0.30 at or under $10.00). Source: eBay's selling fees page, checked October 2026. | Through eBay's own payment system, on eBay's schedule. See eBay's pages for current terms. | eBay's percentage also applies to the shipping and sales tax a buyer pays, and eBay can change its fees. |
| A live-selling show (for example Whatnot) | Sellers present cards on a live video stream and buyers bid or buy while it runs. | See their fee page: Whatnot. No figure is quoted here. | Set by the platform. See its pages for current terms. | You need a camera, a schedule and time on the stream. |
| Consignment or an auction house (for example COMC or Goldin) | You send cards to a company that lists and sells them for you, or sells them in an auction. | See their fee pages: COMC and Goldin. No figure is quoted here. | After the card sells, on the terms the company sets. | Your cards leave your hands while they are listed, and an auction's final price is not known in advance. |
| A local card shop | A shop buys cards from you, or sells them for you, in person. | Set by the shop. Ask how it prices a card and compare more than one offer. | As agreed with the shop before you hand cards over. | A shop that buys outright plans to resell the card, so ask what its offer is based on and compare it with recorded sold prices. |
| A card show table | You rent or share a table at an in-person card show and sell to people who walk by. | Table fees and travel costs vary by show. See the show's own page. | In person, by whatever method you and the buyer agree. | You pay for the table and the trip whether or not cards sell, and you carry the cards with you. |
| Instagram, Facebook or Discord DMs | You sell directly to a collector you found in a group or a message thread. | No marketplace fee. A payment method may charge its own fee, so see the payment provider's fee page. | By whatever method you and the buyer agree. PayPal Friends & Family payments are not eligible for PayPal Purchase Protection (PayPal User Agreement, as of October 2026). | No marketplace sits in the middle to hold the payment or decide a case. See the answer on DM sales below. |
| CardResell (publishes this page) | A marketplace for UFC and MMA cards only. Prices are fixed and buyers can make an offer; there are no auctions and no other sports. | Free to list. The commission is 5% of the item price under $500, 4% from $500 up to $2,000 and 3% from $2,000 up, with a $0.50 minimum, and a seller's first completed sale has no commission. The buyer pays shipping and a card-processing fee. See the fees page. | The buyer pays first and the payment is held by our payment processor until the carrier confirms delivery and the inspection window ends, or the buyer confirms receipt. Your payout then moves to your Stripe account. | You complete Stripe's payout setup before buyers can check out your cards, add a ship-from address and ship with tracking. Sellers can be in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland or Germany. |
Questions to ask for each kind of card
These are questions to ask, not a ranking. The right place depends on the card and on what you want from the sale.
- A base card worth a few dollars: ask what the fixed costs of one order are, such as a per-order fee and tracked postage, and whether anything is left from a small sale. On CardResell you can list several cards together as one bundle, so one package carries them all.
- A graded, numbered or autographed card: ask whether buyers can see the slab label, the serial number or the signature in your photos, and what happens if a buyer says the card is not as described.
- A card with recent sales: check recorded sold prices for the same card before you price it anywhere. The free scanner and price check and the fighter price guides show them, and a value appears only when 3 or more recorded sales of the same card back it.
- A whole collection: sorting it first saves time on every option. See Sell your UFC card collection.
What a $100 sale costs on CardResell and on eBay
The selling fees page works this out for several prices. On a $100 sale the CardResell commission is $5.00 and the buyer pays the card-processing fee, so a seller keeps $95.00 on a second or later sale (a first completed sale has no commission). eBay's fee is $13.25 (13.25% of $100) plus its $0.40 per-order fee, $13.65 in all, so a seller keeps $86.35. Shipping and sales tax are left out on both sides, and eBay's real figure is usually higher because its percentage also applies to shipping and sales tax. eBay's figures were checked in October 2026 and eBay can change its fees. The other options are not priced here.
Staying careful, wherever you sell
Ship with carrier tracking and keep the tracking receipt and your photos of the card before it ships. Read how each place handles a card that arrives damaged or not as described before you list there. For selling outside a marketplace, see PayPal Friends & Family vs a held payment. Common questions
- Where should I sell UFC cards?
- There is no single right place. eBay lists every kind of card and, for trading cards, its selling fees page lists 13.25% of the sale up to $7,500 per item plus a per-order fee ($0.40 on orders over $10.00, $0.30 at or under $10.00), checked October 2026. CardResell lists only UFC and MMA cards, is free to list, and charges a commission only when a card sells: 5% under $500, 4% from $500 up to $2,000 and 3% from $2,000 up, with a $0.50 minimum and no commission on your first completed sale. CardResell publishes this guide and is one of the options.
- Can I sell UFC cards without a listing fee?
- On CardResell, yes. Listing is free and you pay a commission only when a card sells. Other places set their own fees, so check each one's fee page.
- What protection does a DM sale have?
- A DM sale has no marketplace in the middle. PayPal Friends & Family payments are not eligible for PayPal Purchase Protection (PayPal User Agreement, as of October 2026), and rules differ by payment provider, so check the current terms of any payment method before you ship. On CardResell the buyer pays first and the payment is held by our payment processor until the carrier confirms delivery and the inspection window ends. A card that never arrives, arrives damaged or is not as described goes to a case decided under published rules, and the seller can contest it.
- Where can I sell a graded UFC card?
- PSA, BGS, SGC and CGC slabs can be listed on CardResell like any other card. On CardResell the grade is stated by the seller or read from the slab label, and CardResell does not grade, authenticate or appraise cards. Other places have their own rules for graded cards, so read them before you list.
- When do I get paid on CardResell?
- After the carrier confirms delivery and the buyer's inspection window closes with no case open, or sooner if the buyer confirms receipt. Your payout then moves to your Stripe account. When it reaches your bank depends on Stripe's schedule, and sellers outside the US are on a longer international payout schedule that the Help page describes.
- How do I know what my card is worth before I choose where to sell?
- Check recorded sold prices for the same card. The free scanner and price check reads a photo and shows a value only when 3 or more recorded sales of the same card back it, and the read can be wrong. Recorded sales can be incomplete or out of date, and nothing it shows is an appraisal.
